We are proud to be partnering with a Council in Sussex who are looking to appoint a Housing Options Assistant on a 3-month contract.
This will be a full-time position with a negotiable rate depending on previous experience.
This position offers 2 days working from home.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Liaising with suppliers and internal teams
* Maintaining accurate transaction record while overseeing databases and filing system
* Assisting with placement coordination and related paperwork, ensuring Housing Benefit claims are submitted accurately and remain continuously in payment
* Providing flexible cover and share responsibilities with colleagues, fostering a supportive and positive team culture
Experience required:
* Experience in an admin role
* Experience working within housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
* Compliance and due diligence
* The ability to perform under pressure
Working hours:
* 37 hours per week
* Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
