Our Marketing and Resident Experience (MRX) team is looking for a Content Designer to create and maintain high quality user-centred content across KCCs websites and other digital channels.
What youll be doing
You will be responsible for:
1. Creating website content that delivers a well-written and consistently great user experience
2. Working with the team and across KCC to develop digital content based on user-research and data analytics as well as service need
3. Creating digital processes that are accessible,simpleand easy to use
4. Making sure our web content complies with relevant accessibility regulations and UX principles
5. Working with the Digital Production Manager and the wider team to identify opportunities to innovate, to do things better and more efficiently, and to improve the user experience.
About you
You will have experience of creating accessible, high quality user experiences on websites and will have a good understanding of the principles of content design.
Youll be proficient using content management systems with a proven aptitude for learning how to use new technologies (we use the Squiz content management system).
Youre not afraid to challenge or to be challenged, youre curious about how things can be improved and take responsibility for the difference you make through your work.
You love to collaborate, are highly organised with a keen attention to detail, and have the flexibility to change course when required.
You work exceptionally well as part of a multi-disciplinary team, focused on shared goals and can work effectively in a remote working environment
