Role Description
As a JAG Swimming Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to different skill levels and ages (4-11 years old).
* Ensure safety by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Build strong relationships with students and parents, providing feedback on progress.
* Monitor and assess individual performance, adapting lessons as needed.
* Maintain poolside professionalism and act as an ambassador for JAG.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring confidence in the water.
* Relevant Swim Teacher qualifications (e.g., ASA Level 2 or equivalent).
* Experience teaching swimming to individuals or groups.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references and undergo a DBS check.
Work details: All school holidays, 1 hour per day for swim teaching (2pm-3pm), with extra hours available as an Activity Leader. Operational hours: 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Pay: £15 per hour for swim teaching and £12.21 per hour for activity leading.
