What you will do:
* Carry out core assessments, pre-birth assessments, and comprehensive risk assessments to ensure child safety.
* Conduct Section 47 child protection investigations and represent the authority by providing evidence in court.
* Prepare detailed statements for court, completing Section 7 and 37 reports.
* Undertake regular home visits to monitor safety and progress, safeguarding children within their environments.
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date case recordings and convene core group meetings.
* Liaise with other professionals to coordinate support services.
* Enter into joint investigations with police forces when necessary and see care proceedings through.
* Draft and review comprehensive care plans while supervising contact sessions.
* Write detailed reports for case conferences, attending essential strategy meetings.
* Develop and implement child in need plans to provide curated support for families.
