Due to continued growth Integrated Engineering Support would like to add electrical and mechanical field service engineers with experience of working with CNC machine tools (lathes, Machining centres, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Heidenhain controls) to their existing team. Although initially you would be required to cover work scopes within your own discipline with continuous training provided, we are building a team of highly motivated multi-skilled engineers to drive our company forward and provide our customers with highest quality CNC machine tool service and sales throughout the UK. Most of our work is carried out within Scotland and North England but there will be opportunities to travel further afield.
Initial mechanical skills:
Time served with appropriate apprenticeship qualifications
· Hydraulic and Pneumatic system fault-finding
· Machinery decommissioning/recommissioning
· Full re-alignments of CNC machining centres and CNC lathes.
· Installation and replacement of Ball Screws
· Replacement of Spindles
· General Mechanical repairs
· Annual service work
· Read and understand mechanical drawings.
· Order parts from OEM and equivalent parts from third party suppliers.
Initial electrical skills:
Time served with appropriate apprenticeship qualifications.
· Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
· Machinery decommissioning/recommissioning
· Thorough understanding of electrical wiring diagrams
· Good understanding of variable frequency drive automation systems
· Ability to understand and diagnose machine faults via PLC diagnostic functions
· Understanding of electrical safety circuits
· General electrical repairs
· Order parts from OEM and equivalent parts from third party suppliers.
· Annual service work
· Renishaw ball bar testing
General:
· IT literate. (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Full, valid driving license
