Job Description
We are currently seeking a Sr Export Compliance Officer to join our Corporate Export Compliance Center of Excellence team in our Yeovil facility. Reporting to the Export Compliance Manager EMEA, your focus will be to manage export controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, work with other teams within Honeywell to provide training, offer advice, raise awareness of export controls, and resolve complex export issues for a Fortune 100 company.

Honeywell offers a hybrid solution of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote working; some flexibility would be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as ambassador of export compliance to raise awareness with internal stakeholders and provide specialized advice and training.
* Set up and maintain a framework to ensure compliance with export control laws and provide support to ensure compliance.
* Engage with all staff to provide guidance on applicable export control laws and their impact on product, processes, and staff involved.
* Participate in the internal control environment by performing routine compliance checks.
* Resolve complex export issues and cooperate with the internal Investigations Team where appropriate.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to continuously improve export compliance touchpoints to IT infrastructure and other aspects of daily operations.
* Support processes for submitting and obtaining necessary export licenses from the government.
* Stay engaged with other security and export control professionals in the region, exchanging know‑how and developing best practices.
* Engage in continuous learning as the regulatory environment changes, implementing necessary measures.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or three years of corporate experience in lieu of a degree.
* Fluent English (C1 and above).
* Exposure to export compliance through work experience, or an interest in compliance themes and willingness to learn.
* Growth mindset and resilient personality.
* Independent problem‑solving skills.
* Knowledge of MS Office suite.
