You are responsible for effectively cleaning office areas using the correct materials and equipment, following the schedule and standards set by the cleaning supervisor and building coordinator. Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are followed in handling and storing cleaning materials and machinery. Report any areas for improvement to the supervisor or management and communicate any concerns promptly. Maintain a visible presence on-site, with your ID badge always visible. Contribute to the development of the cleaning schedule, resolve Health & Safety breaches, and engage in required training and compliance activities. Report larger items of rubbish to the appropriate personnel and maintain high cleaning standards. Work collaboratively with the cleaning supervisor and team to ensure a clean, safe environment.

More About You
You should have good timekeeping and cleaning experience, with the ability to communicate and work effectively with others to provide excellent customer and cleaning services. Awareness of COSHH and Health & Safety is essential, as is the ability to work well with the cleaning team. You should be able to deliver a high-quality cleaning service. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a similar cleaning role, knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and compliance issues related to cleaning products, and an understanding of COSHH regulations and the use of PPE.
