I am currently partnering with a fast-growing, tech-enabled logistics company operating within the fine art and high-value goods sector. My client specialises in the global shipping and storage of valuable and bulky items, working with galleries, auction houses, antique dealers, online platforms, and interior designers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative business that is modernising a traditional industry through technology and operational excellence.

As a Transport & Warehouse Assistant, you will play a central role in coordinating transport operations while supporting daily warehouse activities. This position requires strong organisation, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will report directly to the Head of Storage & Technicians and work closely with drivers, technicians, and customer care team to ensure seamless operations.


KeyResponsibilities

* Plan and schedule daily collections and deliveries across four vehicles
* Optimize routes based on artwork size, materials, and handling requirements
* Act as the key liaison between clients and drivers/technicians
* Manage urgent requests, last‑minute changes, and transport incidents
* Arrange third-party transport when required, ensuring cost control and service continuity


Administration&Reporting

* Prepare transport documentation (e.g., Collection and Delivery Notes)
* Maintain accurate records within CRM systems
* Monitor KPIs and contribute to operational improvements
* Support transport budget management and efficient vehicle utilisation


WarehouseSupport

* Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations
* Manage warehouse inbox queries from internal teams
* Maintain accurate inventory and storage records
* Print labels and scan items in and out of storage
* Report damaged items appropriately
* Support supply chain software usage


TheIdealCandidate

* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Proactive problem‑solver who follows issues through to resolution
* Comfortable using digital tools (CRM systems, Excel, dashboards, email)
* Fluent in English
