As part of thier continued growth, they are seeking a Lead Analytical Scientist to drive excellence in analytical science and support our technical and quality functions. Role Summary As the Lead Analytical Scientist, you will be responsible for overseeing analytical method development, validation, and troubleshooting across a range of chemical processes and products. You’ll lead a small team of scientists and work closely with R&D, production, and quality assurance to ensure robust analytical support for both routine operations and new product development. Key Responsibilities * Lead the development, validation, and implementation of analytical methods for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. * Provide expert support in instrumental analysis (e.g., GC, HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis, ICP-OES). * Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and regulatory standards. * Manage and mentor a team of analytical scientists and technicians. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Process Engineering, R&D, and Quality Control. * Troubleshoot analytical issues and provide technical guidance to resolve complex problems. * Maintain and improve laboratory systems, documentation, and data integrity. * Support investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements * Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or related discipline. * Proven experience in a chemical manufacturing or regulated laboratory environment. * Strong hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and method development. * Knowledge of COMAH, GMP, or ISO standards is highly desirable. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
