Who you are
Graduates with no legal work experience but have undertaken either a legal degree and/or LPC (or similar); OR Paralegals with 0-1+ years experience in a similar role, ideally with EL/PL experience. However, we are happy to consider candidates with alternative backgrounds such as Claimant, motor, disease, pre‑litigated Defendant work, clinical negligence, profin etc. Good organisation skills, able to work to deadlines, prioritise own workload, meet conflicting demands and has a strong work ethic. Able to produce work to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail and concern for quality of service. Somone who is enthusiastic about joining a well‑established and highly thought of Casualty Injury (EL/PL) team and who can see themselves building a future with DAC Beachcroft. Eager to collaborate and build lasting relationships with colleagues, becoming an integral part of a growing team.
What you will do
* Efficient Case Management: Proactively manage your own caseload of predominantly litigated fast track matters to ensure deadlines are met and cases are concluded efficiently.
* Training: Embrace the training provided and the support given to all new starters to assist in your legal development, the litigation process and with handling litigated claims more generally.
* Clear Case Strategy: With support where needed.
* Engage with Clients: Engage with clients and support business development plans to maximize opportunities to meet and build rapport, always acting as an ambassador of the firm.
* Build internal network: Work collaboratively with other teams ensuring you build your internal network of contacts.
