Engineering Specialist Intern – DustSentinel
DustSentinel is looking for an Engineering Specialist Intern to support the development and launch of our dust monitoring products.
This is a practical, hands-on role for someone interested in engineering, environmental technology, sensors, hardware, product testing and real-world site applications.
The role will involve helping with product testing, technical research, supplier discussions, installation requirements, basic engineering documentation and general support as DustSentinel grows.
You will work closely with the team to understand how the product works, how it is used on site, and what improvements or technical support may be needed.
Responsibilities include:
Helping with product testing and technical checks
Researching components, sensors, systems and suppliers
Assisting with engineering notes, product documents and manuals
Helping review site requirements and installation considerations
Supporting troubleshooting and product improvement work
Keeping records of testing, feedback and technical updates
General support across the launch of DustSentinel
Ideal candidate:
Studying or recently graduated in engineering, product design, environmental science, electronics, mechanical engineering or a related subject
Practical, organised and willing to learn
Comfortable researching technical information
Good attention to detail
Interested in environmental technology and real-world engineering
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
This is a good opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in an early-stage environmental technology business.
