Seeking a highly personable IT Support Engineer with excellent communication skills to join a rapidly growing specialist electronics manufacturer based in Heanor, Derbyshire.
Your excellent soft skills and positive attitude will be key, being the first point of contact for technical support to over 100 end users, troubleshooting issues across Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking and hardware.
A natural trouble-shooter your responsibilities include:
* 1st line support, triage, and response to all tickets.
* Troubleshooting to fix where possible.
* Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain end user devices
* Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, tablets, monitors & printers.
* Network support, maintenance and set up of hardware, switches and wireless access points.
* Hardware stock and asset management.
* Daily, weekly and monthly routine checks
* Project work, upgrades etc
Technical skills sought with Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking and hardware troubleshooting.
