SEN Teaching Assistant - Barking & Dagenham
Start: ASAP / September StartType: Long-term SEN Role
We are seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants for specialist provisions across Barking & Dagenham.
These roles involve supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs in nurturing environments focused on emotional development, engagement, and positive behaviour.
The Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support
* Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Assist with personalised learning programmes
* Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills
* Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience supporting SEN or vulnerable young people
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
* Willingness to support personal care if needed
