The Role – Computer Science Teacher
We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Computer Science Teacher to join a well-established secondary school based in Lambeth on a permanent basis starting in September 2026. For this Computer Science Teacher role, you will be responsible for teaching KS3–KS4 Computer Science to mixed-ability classes. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire students and develop their understanding of key areas including programming, coding, computational thinking, cybersecurity, and digital literacy.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will encourage students to build confidence in technology and problem-solving while preparing them for examinations and future opportunities within the digital and technology sector. You will be responsible for monitoring student progress, supporting learners of varying abilities, and creating a positive and engaging classroom environment where students can thrive.
The ideal Computer Science Teacher will have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to deliver creative and interactive lessons that encourage student participation and achievement. This role would be ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a supportive and ambitious school setting.
