About the role
Provide senior‑level technical and operational support for R&D laboratory digital platforms and services, ensuring stable, compliant, and efficient lab operations across sites or regions. The role acts as a subject‑matter expert for laboratory systems and is accountable for resolving complex issues that impact lab continuity, data integrity, and regulatory readiness.
Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end operational support (L2/L3) for assigned laboratory platforms (e.g., LIMS, ELN, lab applications, integrations) across one or more sites or regions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex, high‑impact incidents, including root‑cause analysis and implementation of permanent corrective actions.
- Act as the technical point of contact for lab users, product managers, quality and vendors for assigned systems.
- Support system configuration, upgrades, releases and integrations, ensuring compliance with GxP, data‑integrity and validation requirements.
- Maintain audit‑ready documentation, including SOPs, validation evidence and change records.
- Proactively identify operational risks, system weaknesses and improvement opportunities within lab technology services.
- Support inspections and audits as a named system or service owner.
- Provide informal guidance and knowledge sharing to junior analysts and lab technology colleagues.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in regulated R&D, QC or laboratory environments preferred.
- Owns broader or more critical systems and sites.
- Resolves issues independently where procedures are not fully defined.
- Influences solutions and standards through expertise rather than supervision.
- Acts as a trusted technical advisor to lab and quality stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong hands‑on experience supporting enterprise laboratory systems (e.g., LIMS, ELN, CDS, lab integrations).
- Solid understanding of GxP, validation and data‑integrity principles in regulated environments.
- Proven ability to manage non‑routine incidents and cross‑system dependencies.
- Experience working with global lab operations and vendors.
- Clear communication skills, able to translate technical issues into operational impact.
