Our focus, in the Pricing CoE, spans a mix of packaging & pricing strategy projects, SaaS migration projects, and other monetization initiatives across various businesses in the Wolters Kluwer portfolio. The Pricing Strategy Manager will work with the Pricing Strategy Director to support and execute strategic pricing initiatives that enhance Wolters Kluwer's position as a leading B2B SaaS company. You will collaborate with divisional teams across GTM functions (product management, pricing, marketing, finance, sales) to deliver impactful pricing projects and support a global Pricing Community of Practice that shares best practices across divisions and business units.
Ideal candidates should enjoy conceptual problem solving, possess excellent presentation and storytelling skills, have strong data and analytics capabilities, and be adept at running agile programs. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic change.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyze large datasets (customer, financial, usage data) to inform pricing strategies.
2. Perform financial modeling and price performance analysis to identify revenue, pricing, and margin opportunities.
3. Conduct competitive and market analysis to understand pricing trends and opportunities.
4. Synthesize quantitative and qualitative research to validate hypotheses, test price metrics, and assess willingness-to-pay.
5. Collaborate with product management, marketing, sales, and finance to identify inefficiencies and promote improvements in GTM strategies around product positioning, packaging, and pricing.
6. Influence and advise cross-cultural and cross-functional teams using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, involving various countries and stakeholders.
8. Synthesize findings from diverse sources to develop actionable, fact-based recommendations supported by thought leadership.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Demonstrable experience in top pricing strategy or strategy consulting firms, especially in B2B software or digital information services, is desirable. Candidates should have excellent problem-solving skills, project management experience, and strong communication abilities. A passion for commercial strategy and pricing is essential.
