Join a boutique consultancy delivering a rare blend of retained client-side estate work and traditional surveying instructions. This role offers variety, autonomy, and strong project ownership within a quality-driven, highly respected practice.About the Role This is a dual-track position, ideally suited to a building surveyor who enjoys balancing structured project delivery with hands-on professional work. You’ll split your time equally between:Client-Side Estate Projects (c.50%)Delivering external decorations, planned maintenance, and life-cycle projects on commercial, retail and residential buildings for one of the London 'Great Estates'Acting as embedded surveyor for a prestigious estate clientCarrying out site inspections, managing contractors, and overseeing project qualityLiaising directly with the client and reporting progress to the DirectorTraditional Consultancy Surveying (c.50%)Conducting pre-acquisition surveys and defect analysesPreparing schedules of condition and dilapidations reportsSupporting party wall instructions and contract administrationManaging diverse commercial and residential instructions across LondonAbout You You’ll need:At least 12 months’ experience in a building surveying roleStrong professional and project-based technical knowledgeExcellent client-facing presence and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage your own diaryComfortable working full-time from the office and attending site regularlyIdeally, you’ll also have:Chartered MRICS status or be on the APC pathway (support provided)Experience with estate or block portfolio surveyingKnowledge of leasehold property and traditional constructionWhy Apply?Meaningful mix of retained and consultancy clientsEarly responsibility and strong project varietyMentorship and full APC support (100% pass first time record)Clear career development pathStructured hours and a supportive team culture
