Criminal Paralegal / Worcestershire/Salary : GBP 28000.00 : We are seeking a motivated and detail:oriented Criminal Paralegal to join a busy criminal defence team in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in criminal law while gaining hands:on experience supporting experienced solicitors and advocates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting solicitors and advocates with preparation of criminal defence cases
- Drafting legal documents, statements, and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, courts, counsel, and external agencies
- Managing case files and ensuring accurate record keeping
- Conducting legal research and reviewing evidence
- Preparing case bundles for court hearings and trials
Requirements:
- Previous experience in criminal law or a legal support role preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast:paced environment
- A proactive and professional approach to client care
- Law degree, LPC, or equivalent legal qualification desirable but not essential
