A great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to support a growing Multi Academy Trust during a key period. You'll work closely with the CFO, leading on management accounts, treasury activity, financial controls and audit preparation across multiple schools. Key Responsibilities Produce monthly consolidated management accounts and cashflow forecasts Monitor financial performance, investigate variances and ensure data accuracy Manage treasury activity, monitor balances and maximise investment income Support procurement and contract monitoring to ensure value for money Lead month-end and year-end processes including accruals, prepayments and key journals Coordinate audit information and submit VAT returns Ensure compliance with the Academy Trust Handbook and financial regulations About You Qualified/part-qualified accountant (CCAB/CIMA/ACCA) or AAT Level 4 Strong experience in management accounts and financial reporting Confident with journals, reconciliations and variance analysis Excellent attention to detail and ability to explain finance to non-finance staff Experience in multi-site or public sector environments is desirable This is a fantastic short-term opportunity to make a real impact in a values-driven organisation.
