1. Client: NPS - Wakefield (Burgage House)
2. Hours : 37 hours a week: (there will also be a requirement to work until 9pm on some late shifts)
8.45am-5.15pm Monday-Thursday
8.45am-4.30pm Fridays
3. Contract Duration: On-going temporary role
4. Pay rate: £11.44ph
5. Location: Wakefield (WF1)
A full-time temporary position has come available with the National Probation Service!
*Please note: Vetting can take around 3 months to complete before starting*
Duties:
6. To greet offenders and visitors, check their appointment and log their arrival and departure
7. Ensure the appropriate member of staff is notified of visitors and issue visitor passes and security fobs as necessary
8. Be first point of contact for partner businesses that reside within the same building
9. Handle all queries, referring on to correct department if unable to resolve
10. Handle incoming telephone calls, take messages and transmit to the appropriate person.
11. Deal with all mail items; incoming, outgoing and internal.
12. Use site mail box, actioning where appropriate or passing on the the right person
13. Ensure faults are reported and servicing requests for equipment are made with suppliers and contractors
14. Practice safer working and adhere to data protection, confidentiality policies and legislation
Skills and experience required:
15. Great verbal and written skills
16. Positive can-do attitude to work
17. Admin or receptionist experience desired but not necessary
18. Great organisational skills
19. Great team player
