Your Key Responsibilities & Accountability on completion of apprenticeship include: Producing Components using Hand Fitting Techniques Repair & Refurbishment of mechanical assemblies Maintaining Electrical equipment Maintaining mechanical equipment Preparing and using Milling Machines Dynamic Balancing & Laser Alignments Carrying out planned maintenance activities Attend lectures, practical workshops, and visits as per training provider's learning plan In addition to the above responsibilities you will also be taught general machining skills. The training you will be getting You will study on a Level 3 Engineering Technician standard on a Mechatronics Maintenance Engineer pathway. On completion of this, you will gain a qualification in Engineering at Advanced Level 3. During the first year of the apprenticeship, your learning will take place at the University of Sheffield’s AMRC Training Centre based at Catcliffe, Rotherham, for an initial block of study on a full-time basis. After this, you will attend the Training Centre for one day a week for knowledge study.
