The Opportunity
We are working with a well established West Yorkshire based main contractor with a strong regional presence and consistent pipeline of work across multiple sectors.
Due to continued growth and a high volume of secured and upcoming projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator to support their pre-construction team.
This is a behind-the-scenes role, focused purely on estimating within a busy and fast-paced environment.
Project Overview
The business operates across a diverse portfolio of projects valued between £1m - £6m, including:
* Commercial developments
* Industrial and logistics schemes
* Refurbishment and fit-out projects
* New build construction across regional frameworks
Role Overview
* Solely focused on day to day estimating duties
* Managing multiple tenders/projects at one time
* Working across a range of projects within the contractor's core sectors
* Use xsngvjr of internal estimating software
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
* Managing multiple bids simultaneously
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
* Liaising internally with delivery and commercial teams
* Ensuring accurate and competitive pricing across all tenders
