Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the life of St. Peter’s.
In the classroom they act as the teacher’s eyes and ears, supporting groups and individuals, helping keep a positive working atmosphere and making sure every child is ready to learn. In the playground they lead games, keep things safe and calm and give first aid when things go wrong. Where ever they are, they comfort children, encourage children, settle conflicts, repair friendships and just bring out the best in all our children.

We are Looking for a Teaching assistant to join our fantastic team!
We offer a lovely working atmosphere, fantastic children and great colleagues - come visit us and see.
All our Teaching Assistants work 18.75 hours a week, Monday to Friday, all hours within the school day. Opportunities to run an After School Club/overtime if desired.
We offer support and regular training to all our TAs.
