Job Description:
Our client is currently looking for a motivated and detail-drivenAssistant Quantity Surveyorto join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your commercial skills while working on exciting and differing construction projects.
Role Purpose:
To support the branch with commercial and surveying duties, ensuring accurate cost control, reporting, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Measure and assess site works from timesheets, diaries, and subcontractor applications
2. Track delay events and as-built records to assist with project delay assessments
3. Provide accurate and timely progress reports to Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers
4. Understand construction programmes and the scope of works in detail
5. Collaborate closely with site and contracts managers
6. Split time across large/major projects as required
7. Manage credit control, ensuring timely payments in line with contracts
8. Draft and manage subcontractor agreements and valuations
9. Support pricing of variations with labour, material, and cost data
