Warehouse Supervisor
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our well-established client based in Coventry, Warwickshire.

Shifts:
Monday to Friday: 8.00am - 4.00pm
Pay rate:
£14.50 -£16.00 per hour depending on experience

Day-to-day Duties:
As a Warehouse Supervisor your duties will include (but not be limited to):
* Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse team to ensure efficiency, safety, accuracy, and timely fulfilment of goods.
* This role involves managing teams, implementing best practices, optimising work flows, and ensuring compliance with company and legal standards
* Implement the correct processes and practices across the warehouse and logistics departments
* Maintain constant communication with managers, staff and vendors to ensure proper operations
* Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols
* Ensure that operational activities remain on time and in full
* Track staffing requirements, and dealing with all related HR requirements
* Ensure all health & safety requirements are being met in full
* Set clear KPIs for members of staff
* Internal & External stock take and management
Essential skills:
To be successful as a Warehouse Supervisor you will need:
* Working in the same role previously is required
* Knowledge and experience of dealing with Health & Safety
* Excellent people and communication skills
* Strong leadership ability
* Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities whilst maintaining operational control of operations and warehouse
* Strong IT skills
* Team working skills, be able to lead by example
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management, organisation and planning skills
* Focused, hard working and very organised with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
* A professional and proactive attitude
Training:
* Full training will be provided, with additional support throughout
