Band 8B Principle Practitioner Psychologist in Critical Care

(£76,888 - £82,251 pro rata per annum, 0.4 WTE)
The Acute Clinical Health Psychology Service is seeking a Band 8b Practitioner Psychologist with experience in clinical health settings to contribute to specialised psychology services in secondary care physical health services within NHS Grampian Critical Care Service. This will include provision of psychological care to patients, families and staff, including follow up care.
Responsibilities
* Delivery and audit of the psychology services, including routine assessment, individual and group interventions, supervision, consultation and training.
* Develop, coordinate and deliver a range of individual, group and team interventions with the support of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement and research, and supervise junior colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience
* Band 8b level experience in clinical health settings.
* Experience working collaboratively with other professional groups.
* Experience supervising other psychology colleagues and enabling colleagues' growth and development.
* Evidence of involvement in service development, published research and service audit is desirable.
