Oscar is proud to be partnering with one of our most trusted clients, a forward-thinking business based in
Bristol, who are expanding their engineering team with the addition of a
Senior Software Developer .
This is an exciting opportunity to join a
22-strong engineering team, where you'll be surrounded by a fantastic mix of
seasoned senior developers and ambitious juniors. You'll work in a truly collaborative environment, reporting directly into the
CTO, and play a key role in shaping and delivering
high-impact projects
that directly influence the company's growth.
?? What you'll be doing:
Building and maintaining high-quality, scalable applications using
PHP (Laravel)
and
React.js .
Designing and implementing cloud-first solutions with
AWS .
Mentoring and supporting junior developers, while also collaborating with senior peers to drive best practices.
Working closely with the CTO to define technical strategy and contribute to architectural decisions.
Taking ownership of projects from concept to deployment in a fast-moving, Agile environment.
? What we're looking for:
Strong commercial experience with
PHP (Laravel) .
Frontend expertise with
React.js
and modern JavaScript practices.
Hands-on experience working with
AWS
services.
A track record of delivering high-quality, well-structured code.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor juniors.
?? Working setup:
This role offers a
hybrid working model, with just
1 day per week in the Bristol office
and the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week.
?? Salary & Benefits:
£65,000 - £75,000 DOE
Hybrid working (1 day a week in the office)
