What You'll Be Doing
* Verify and process weekly expense runs for FG UK and FG Ireland
* Process weekly engineer timesheets and calculate overtime for FG UK and FG Ireland
* Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for FG UK and FG Ireland
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for UK and Irish legislation under guidance from the Payroll and Purchase Ledger supervisor
* Respond to employee queries
* Maintain confidentiality and data protection standards
What You Bring
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
* Administrative experience in a finance, payroll, HR or office environment
* Basic understanding of the payroll process and awareness of statutory deductions
* with a willingness to learn payroll systems and procedures
* Experience working to deadlines in a routine or cyclical environment
* Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
* Good communicator with willingness to ask questions and seek guidance when needed
* Ability to follow procedures and escalate issues appropriately
* Excellent attention to detail
Bonus Points For
* Previous experience in a payroll or finance-related role
* Knowledge of UK and/or Irish payroll and employment legislation
* Knowledge of payroll systems
