We are looking for a qualified accountant for our client, an accounting firm based in Bristol, with recent experience in practice.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring timely completion of team tasks, including bookkeeping, VAT and tax returns, year-end accounts, as well as providing tax planning and financial forecasting advice.
Additional responsibilities may include company secretarial duties, offering financial guidance, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining clear, efficient client communication are essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Proven experience in preparing and managing accounts, tax returns, and related financial tasks.
* Competence in handling year-end accounts, tax planning, forecasting, and company secretarial responsibilities.
* Strong customer service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
* Highly organised, with the ability to streamline administrative processes effectively.
* Fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the UK.
* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
* Experience working with Sole Traders is advantageous.
