Commercial Legal Counsel

đź’Ľ Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including: Supplier and service contracts, Marketing and sponsorship agreements, Technology and SaaS contracts, NDAs and heads of terms as well as Payment services and data processing agreements
- Support senior stakeholders with contract negotiations and deal structuring
- Assist with M&A activities, including due diligence and data room management
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. marketing, tech, procurement, compliance)
- Provide clear, practical legal advice on contract law and risk
- Contribute to improving contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes
âś… Experience Required
- Qualified solicitor (UK, US, South Africa, or equivalent), with 4+ years’ PQE
- Strong experience in commercial contracts (in-house or private practice)
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for business audiences
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Collaborative approach and strong stakeholder management skills
