The successful applicant will be responsible for the repair of mould breakdowns working in a busy production environment, undertake preventative maintenance and servicing of mould tools, diagnose mould faults and effect repairs.

This is a shift working position and overtime will be required at times

As a time served toolmaker you will:

Undertake tasks assigned by the toolroom manager

Work with production to prioritise breakdowns

Precision machining including EDM, milling, turning and grinding

Preparation of new mould tooling production

High standards of housekeeping (5S)

Work safely at all times

What We’re Looking for

Significant experience of working with injection mould tooling (time served)

Successful completion of an approved apprenticeship including ONC or higher in an engineering discipline

Machining and welding skills

Several years’ experience outside of a qualification or apprenticeship scheme

A knowledge of Moldmaster hot runner systems would be advantageous

Excellent team working skills

Ability to work on your own initiative

Your Role at Husqvarna UK
