Job Title: Domestic Carpenter
Location: AL8 6AE
Rate: £24 to £27 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Temporary - up to 16 weeks
Hours: Full time
We are currently seeking an experienced Domestic Carpenter to join a busy maintenance team working across residential properties in the AL8 6AE area. This is a fantastic opportunity offering competitive hourly rates and consistent full-time work.
The Role:You will be carrying out a wide range of carpentry maintenance and repair work within domestic properties, ensuring all jobs are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* General carpentry repairs and maintenance
* Hanging doors, fitting skirting boards and architraves
* Kitchen unit repairs and installations
* Adjusting and repairing windows and locks
* Working in both occupied and void properties
Requirements:
* Proven experience in domestic carpentry or carpentry maintenance
* NVQ/City & Guilds in Carpentry (preferred but not essential)
* Ability to work independently and manage your workload
* Good customer service skills
* Own tools preferred
