You will ideally have had previous experience as a communication Engineer.
This is an on-site role based in Stevenage, working 5 days a week with occasional travel to Portsmouth or Newport. Travel between sites will be required.

Your role
* Resolve Level 2 and 3 Telephony / Videoconferencing incidents
* Respond to hardware or application requests
* Participate in Telephony / Videoconferencing projects
* Assist operations teams on an ad hoc basis
* Ensure the management of Telephony and Videoconferencing infrastructure
* Manage local team and share skills

Your skills and experience
* Advanced knowledge of Cisco TOIP (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IPPhone, Cisco SBS, VG2xx), Webex, and Cisco video conferencing systems
* Knowledge of VMware Suite and vSan
* Experience with Kurmi, Telsica, PeterConnects ecosystems
* Good understanding of SIP/H323 protocols, WAN/LAN, security, system administration, and PC environments is a plus
* Strong team management and interpersonal skills
Your security clearance
To be appointed, you must obtain SC clearance, which requires residing continuously in the UK for the last 5 years, among other criteria. During recruitment, questions about your eligibility for security clearance will be asked, including residence and nationality details. Some roles are restricted to UK nationals for security reasons.
