You will collaborate closely with project teams, risk managers, and commercial stakeholders to ensure our bids not only meet client expectations but also align with our commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Lead the development of robust, competitive project budgets that support successful delivery. Data Collection & Analysis: Oversee the collection and evaluation of cost-related data to enhance forecasting accuracy. Tender & Bid Preparation: Manage the preparation of competitive tenders and bids, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. Cost Control & Monitoring: Monitor project costs throughout their lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and addressing variances. Risk Assessment: Integrate risk management strategies into all cost estimates, providing stakeholders with transparent forecasts. Leadership & Collaboration: Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within your team. Documentation & Reporting: Ensure all estimating methodologies and documentation comply with industry standards and are auditable. Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all estimating activities align with relevant legislation and company policies. What We're Looking For: Qualifications: RICS Certificate in Construction Project Management, AACE Certified Cost Professional (CCP), AACE Certified Estimating Professional (CEP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, and APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ). Experience: Extensive experience in cost estimation within the construction or engineering sectors, with a proven track record of managing large-scale project budgets.
