Training Development Administrator (6 month FTC)

Overview

Supporting the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs within Dimplex. The delivery and ongoing embedment of commercial and customer focused training which is key to our success as a division whether it is systems, process, compliance or soft skill requirements, in order to improve the performance of the Commercial team.


Key Accountabilities

* Plan, schedule, and coordinate soft skills training sessions both face-to-face or remote for all internal Dimplex employees to include communication, teamwork, leadership and conflict resolution to support overall business effectiveness through targeted soft skills training.
* Work closely with department managers to identify training needs aligned with employee development goals. Using structured approach to training sessions for a consistent method and clear actions for planning and delivering, ensuring training is strategically aligned with development goals.
* Build and deliver those training needs aligned with departmental and functional goals to support departmental objectives, driving performance and capability through targeted development initiatives.
* Have ownership of soft skills course content with The Academy and the ability to track participation and monitor completion rates to maintain high-quality, relevant soft skills content and ensure visibility of employee engagement through tracking and reporting.
* Generate reports on engagement and learning outcomes to support HR and leadership teams to provide data-driven insights that help evaluate training impact, inform decision-making, and guide future development strategies.
* Promote learning opportunities through internal channels to encourage a culture of continuous learning by highlighting course launches, success stories and training benefits to encourage a culture of continuous learning by increasing visibility and engagement with training opportunities.
* Support the onboarding process by ensuring new hires are introduced to Dimplex’s development programs and internal systems to enable new starters to be effectively integrated into the organisation.
* Assist in the creation of learning pathways for career progression and leadership development to support long-term employee growth by designing structured learning pathways that align with career progression and leadership development goals.
* Organise logistics for in-person and virtual workshops, including room bookings, materials, and facilitator coordination to guarantee smooth and professional delivery of training sessions.
* Provide data capture for workshops via The Academy to facilitate accurate tracking of participation and outcomes from training sessions, enabling data-driven evaluation and continuous improvement.
* Collect and analyse participant feedback to evaluate training effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities, maximising the value and impact of each session delivered.
* Collaborate with the Training team and Heads of Department to continuously refine content and delivery methods, enhancing the relevance, quality, and impact of soft skills training.
* Liaise with internal trainers, external providers, and department heads to align training initiatives with business priorities, ensuring content and delivery meet organisational needs.
* Provide regular reports to HR and senior leadership on the progress and impact of training, offering clear visibility to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.


Essential Criteria


Skills, Knowledge and Experience

* Previously held an administrative or coordinator role, ideally within HR or Learning & Development
* Experience supporting training programs, workshops, or onboarding processes.
* Familiarity with soft skills development initiatives (e.g., communication, leadership, time management).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) or HRIS platforms.

* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Friendly, approachable, and confident in dealing with people at all levels.
* Ability to consume and analyse a large volume of data and extract key points
* Research or Project experience

Travel

This position is office based at Glen Dimplex Hedge End. There may be occasions when travel within the UK will be a requirement.
