The Parkside Suite comprises 26 ensuite rooms offering a high standard service to both private and NHS amenity patients.
Profits from the revenue of the unit are returned to the Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for a motivated and confident physiotherapist with comprehensive general experience in both in-patient and out-patient settings. You will be setting up the new private out‑patient service as well as being an integral member of the ward team. You will need excellent communication skills and a passion for service development. There will be a requirement to participate in the delivery of the weekend service.
Main duties of the job
* Experience a comprehensive and varied caseload including orthopaedic, surgical, medical and day case paediatric patients.
* Links to experienced clinicians across the NHS physiotherapy teams.
* Work autonomously/within the team with shared responsibility for the provision of the physiotherapy service across the unit.
* Work with both NHS (amenity) and private patients.
* A friendly, supportive, and professional team and a committed MDT including a dedicated Dr’s presence on the ward across weekdays.

Qualifications
* HCPC Registration.
* Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
* Evidence of relevant CPD.
* Member of relevant clinical interest group.
* Clinical educators training.
* Evidence of managerial training.
Experience
* Demonstrate up to date knowledge of best clinical practice in relevant speciality.
* Completion of band 5 rotations - This includes experience in the relevant clinical areas, General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Surgical/ICU, Elderly Care, Neuro, Outpatients.
* Training and supervision to support all physiotherapy staff and students.
* Experience in development of a project or service.
* Experience of research & audit.
Skills
* Understanding of professional ethics and their application in practice.
* Interpersonal skills including clear, concise and effective verbal and written reports
* Organisational skills.
* Supervisory and appraisal skills.
* Demonstrate understanding & involvement of Clinical Governance and risk assessment.
* Basic knowledge of health legislation.
* Basic management skills
