Year 3/4 Teacher (Temporary – Autumn Term)
* Location: Wyre
* Start Date: September 2026
* Contract Type: Temporary (Autumn Term Only)
* Working Pattern: Part-time (3–4 days per week)
We are seeking an experienced and committed Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school community in the Wyre area. This is a temporary opportunity to teach a mixed Year 3/4 class of 27 pupils for the Autumn term, starting in September 2026.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to a mixed Year 3/4 class.
* Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and pupil progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Strong experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 3 and/or Year 4.
* A proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes.
* Flexibility to adapt to a mixed-age class setting.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* A commitment to supporting pupil development and wellbeing.
Additional Information:
* The role is offered on a part-time basis (3, potentially 4 days per week).
* This is a fixed-term position covering the Autumn term only.
* Experience across other primary year groups is desirable.
