Description DP World are currently recruiting for a Manager – Corporate Governance & Assistant Company Secretary to join our team at our European Head Office in London. This is a key role providing hands-on support across a wide range of corporate governance, company secretarial, and regulatory activities. Working closely with internal stakeholders, business units, and external authorities, you will help ensure compliance, maintain corporate records, and support governance processes across the region. How you will contribute Provide reliable and proactive support on corporate governance and company secretarial matters, identifying and resolving issues effectively. Coordinate and manage queries received by the Corporate Secretariat Department, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution. Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records within the Global Entity Management System, ensuring all changes and documentation are promptly recorded. Prepare and manage governance calendars for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with DP World requirements and local regulations. Draft and prepare corporate governance documentation, including resolutions, constitutional documents, and correspondence. Support the incorporation of new entities and changes to existing companies, liaising with internal teams, authorities, and regulatory bodies, and completing required filings. Provide governance support for transactions and projects across the business. Ensure all UK statutory filings (including Confirmation Statements, Statutory Accounts, and Director changes) are completed accurately and on time. Manage and review internal governance workflow requests, ensuring requirements are met and approvals are obtained. Coordinate director appointment processes with business units and Head Office, ensuring accurate updates within the global corporate data system. Collaborate with regional and local contacts to ensure adherence to corporate governance policies and procedures. Assist in preparing board materials, management packs, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Support the ongoing development and review of departmental procedures relating to corporate governance. Act as an ambassador for DP World, demonstrating company values, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to the Code of Conduct and Ethics policies. What you will bring Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Law, or a related discipline (preferred). 5–7 years’ experience in a corporate governance, company secretarial, or legal environment within a multinational organisation or law firm. Membership of the Chartered Governance Institute (or equivalent) is desirable. Strong working knowledge of corporate governance frameworks and company secretarial practices. Experience with corporate data management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure. A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
