Specialist training provided where required.The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be: Working with the ground investigation team on a range of contaminated land and geotechnical projects. Carrying out Desktop studies. Borehole logging, trial pitting, soil sampling, groundwater and gas monitoring. Mentoring junior members of the team. Factual and interpretive report writing.To be considered for the Geotechnical Engineer position you should therefore have experience in the ground investigation industry, have a strong understanding of soil mechanics and a degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical focus) or similar (MSc preferred). You must also have a full and clean UK Driving Licence, live in or near to London and have a full right to work in the UK.
