Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Drone Pilot/UAS Operator located in Helston. The role involves managing and conducting drone operations, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and maintaining safe piloting practices. Daily tasks include flight planning, operational execution, and data collection. Additionally, the role involves assisting with team training activities including upskilling & developing the RPAS skills within the team, supporting research and development efforts, and maintaining equipment to optimize performance.
Qualifications
Expertise in Drone Piloting, UAV operation, and handling advanced drones
Experience in piloting and operating unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)
Proficiency in creating and delivering training for drone operations
Strong knowledge of aviation safety protocols and regulatory compliance
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Relevant certifications or licenses in drone operations are preferred
Technical aptitude in maintaining and troubleshooting drone equipment
Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and changing operational requirements
