Overview of the Role
Research in Finance is seeking an organised and proactive Office Administrator to support the Research team and contribute to the smooth running and continued global growth of the business. This varied role requires strong multi‑tasking skills, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities across teams.
The Office Administrator will play a central role in ensuring the efficiency of day‑to‑day operations, including:
· Diary and PA Support: Managing schedules for the Research team, arranging qualitative interviews, and coordinating all related communications such as confirmations and reminders.
· Client Presentation Scheduling: Working with clients and internal teams to arrange debrief presentations at mutually convenient times.
· Project Coordination: Organising project meetings, booking rooms or online meeting facilities, and overseeing project logistics such as transcription and translation services.
· Event Support: Assisting the event management team with communications to delegates.
· Travel and Office Management: Arranging team travel, handling general office duties, managing stationery supplies, and sorting incoming mail.
· Inbox and Communication Management: Overseeing the RiF info inbox and directing enquiries to the appropriate team members.
· Panel and Research Support: Assisting the panel team through data building efforts and managing participant incentive distribution.
· Marketing Assistance: Providing general administrative support to the Marketing Manager.
This role is ideal for a highly organised individual who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a busy, collaborative environment. Expectation is currently to be in the office four days per week to support all members of the team.
What We're Looking For
A proactive team player, the successful candidate must possess the following skills:
· Advanced IT skills, including excellent working knowledge of MS office packages including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Teams;
· Ability to manage own workload and projects;
· Highly organised and able to multi task;
· Be able to work quickly and efficiently with an attention to detail;
· Possess excellent oral and written skills;
· Have a keen eye for detail;
· Demonstrate initiative, motivation and effective team working skills.
Location: Central London based, 4 days in the office
