Job Title: Science Teacher – Secondary School
Location: Spalding
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: September
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term
GSL Education is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Teacher to work in a secondary school Spalding. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who can inspire students and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
The successful candidate will join a supportive school environment and help students develop curiosity, confidence, and a strong understanding of scientific concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
* Assess and monitor student progress effectively
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
* Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A passion for motivating and supporting young learners
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
