After School Club Play Worker - Permanent Contract - 9 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 2.45pm to 5.45pm - Term time, 185 days per year (37 weeks)

We are looking to recruit a permanent Play Worker for our friendly After School Club based at The Hermitage Schools to work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 2.45pm to 5.45pm. If you are unable to cover all of these days but able to work some afternoons, please state your preferred hours/days on the application form.

As a Play Worker, your key responsibilities would include: -

1. Supervising children attending the afterschool club. Ensuring their safety and well-being.
2. Providing appropriate activities and games for the children to enjoy.
3. Encourage good behaviour.
4. Supporting the After School Club Leader with the overall running of the club in line with the club polices and procedure.

Previous experience of working with children or an NVQ in Childcare would be desirable. Applicants must be 17 or over.

Actual Salary: £4,963 per year, based on 9 hours a week (FTE salary is £24,330).
