20.75 USD HourlyThe Cube Van Driver is responsible for transporting products and equipment from and to warehouses, stores and other designated locations. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Job Description:
Wage: $20.75 - $20.75

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Drive Cube Van on a daily basis .
* Perform vehicle pre-trip safety inspection; m aintain vehicle log trip .
* Safely load product, laundry, and recycling onto and off of truck, often unassisted .
* Maintain food temperature log of food supplies transported in vehicles .
* Enforce and comply with company and DOT safety policies and laws for everyone in the vehicle .
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
* High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required ; some college preferred .
* Current US driver license with clean driving record required .
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail required .
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
* Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Bend, li ft, carry, reach/extend arms a nd hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a c onstantly changing environment .
* Lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 5 0 lbs. O ccasionally .
* Able to drive a large vehicle, sit and stand for extended periods .
* Climb steps regularly .
* Withstand temperature extremes i n freezer, refrigerator walk-in, warehouse, and outside environment .
* Reading and writing wo rk-related documents in English .
* Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of vendors, drivers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly to be understood by same in English .
* Physical presence at the job site is e ssential to perform job duties .
* Ability to travel between different units within the park .
EQUIPMENT USED
* Cube van, hand truck, pallet jack, rolling cart
* Typical office equipment (computers, phone system, fax, copiers, scanners, among others.).
* Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used : goggles, latex and rubber gloves
