People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our busy and well-established client based in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. This role will suit applicants looking for work as a HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver. Shifts: • Monday to Friday • Start times between 04:30 – 06:00 • Working until job finish Rates of Pay: • £16.00 per hour Benefits: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work with potential to become permanent following a qualifying period • Weekly pay – PAYE • On-site canteen • Immediate starts available Day-to-Day Duties: • Carrying out deliveries to businesses and building sites • Operating curtain-side Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently • Completing pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections • Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with safety regulations • Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations • Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly • Assisting with loading and unloading when required • Heavy lifting may be involved Essential Skills: • Minimum 12 months Category C driving experience • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • No major endorsement codes • Excellent punctuality and timekeeping • Good understanding of road traffic laws and regulations Desirable Experience: • Previous commercial driving experience • Multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided: • Driver assessment required prior to starting • Full paid induction provided on your first day Apply: If you are interested in this opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch. xxuwjjq People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.
