This is a permanent position.
Role Overview
As a Senior Planning and Project Controller, you will develop, maintain, and oversee project plans and controls for complex engineering programs, ensuring effective management of Schedule, Cost, Risk, and Earned Value metrics.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver expert services in scheduling, cost management, risk management, and EVM.
* Develop and maintain the programme IMS, track dependencies, and communicate schedule metrics.
* Manage control accounts and work packages to keep projects on track.
* Maintain Performance Measurement Baselines aligned with WBS, SOW, Schedule, and Risk baselines.
* Update and maintain the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) ensuring traceability.
* Collaborate with departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of project plans.
* Contribute to the delivery of complex programmes with timely controls.
* Execute schedule risk analysis, interpret results, and advise on risk management strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Proficiency in Open Plan; familiarity with Primavera P6 is highly desirable.
* Strong experience in Earned Value Management, supporting project teams.
* Experience in early phases of delivery programmes, especially in training and logistics.
* Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Solid background in baseline control and project scheduling.
* Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
* Experience supporting new business capture and proposal planning.
* PRINCE2 or APM qualifications are advantageous.
* Ability to present data to senior stakeholders and train team members.
* Knowledge of planning and programme control best practices.
