About the role
As a Graduate Behaviour Mentor, you will:
* Work 1:1 with individual students or support small groups with behaviour management
* Assist with pastoral matters such as attendance, wellbeing, and engagement
* Communicate with parents, SENCOs, Heads of Year, and Form Tutors regarding student progress
* Encourage positive behaviours and support an inclusive learning environment, regardless of background or circumstance
* Monitor and report on students' progress to ensure the right support strategies are in place
What we're looking for
* A UK degree (Psychology or related field preferred)
* Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs (, youth work, school-based roles, mentoring)
* A resilient and patient nature - these roles can be challenging but incredibly rewarding
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* References covering the last 2 years
What we offer
* Opportunities for long-term, short-term, and day-to-day supply work
* A chance to gain valuable experience in secondary schools - ideal for those considering careers in education, youth work, or social care
* Support and guidance from a dedicated consultant who works closely with our schools
