We have 2x Car Park Attendant roles to join our team based at Southampton - Royal South Hants Hospital - Main Site
1. From £12.62 per hour, £24,681.00 per annum, pro-rata for part time
2. 37.5 hours per week
3. Monday to Friday on a rotational basis, working between 07:00am –15:00pm or 11:00am –19:00pm
Key Responsibilities
This role will support the safe, efficient and customer‑focused operation of the car park by ensuring vehicles are parked correctly, keeping roadways clear, and addressing any misuse in line with site parking policies. It will involve patrolling the car park, providing assistance and directions to patients, visitors and staff, and monitoring faults or basic maintenance needs relating to barriers, pay‑on‑foot machines and traffic‑control equipment. The Car Park Attendant will also follow local procedures for traffic management and support the implementation of the Major Incident Plan when required, helping to maintain a safe, accessible and well‑managed parking environment.
