Overview
When working clinically, your efficiency and organisational skills will help us to ensure we see our patients on time. You will be required to liaise with the radiographers, ward staff, porters and patients to ensure inpatients are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner, ready for their examination.
The department is open from 6.45am until 8pm, seven days a week, including Bank Holidays. The successful applicant will be provided with full safety training and mentorship.
Responsibilities
* General patient care and initial safety screening for MRI.
* Cannulation of patients and safe use of equipment.
* Department cleanliness, data input and clerical duties.
* Excellent communication and positive telephone manner.
Qualifications
* Experience in health care and/or working with the public.
* Excellent computer and administrative skills.
* Polite sympathetic telephone manner and good attention to detail.
* Flexibility and reliability.
