Location: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in our Birmingham depot
At DANX Carousel, we’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to support our operational teams and help drive a high-performing, people-focused culture.
About The Role
As HR Business Partner, you’ll act as the primary HR contact for your assigned business areas, providing expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll work in a fast-paced operational environment, supporting managers with recruitment, performance management, employee relations, engagement initiatives, and HR process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the main HR contact for assigned operational business units
* Support managers across the full employee lifecycle
* Provide recruitment guidance, interview support, and candidate assessment feedback
* Lead performance management activities, including probation reviews and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
* Advise and support managers on employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policy
* Analyse HR data, identify trends, and recommend improvements
* Support and deliver company-wide HR initiatives, including engagement and performance programmes
* Organise and support employee engagement activities and interventions
* Collaborate closely with the rest of the HR Team to ensure consistency and excellence in HR service delivery
* Drive a culture of simplicity, responsiveness, and continuous improvement across HR processes
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
* CIPD Level 5 qualified (Level 7 advantageous)
* Previous HR experience within a manufacturing, logistics, or operational environment
* Strong employee relations and performance management experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* High attention to detail and confidentiality
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* A proactive and adaptable approach with a strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload
* Within commutable distance of our Birmingham office
